MJN Timber Solutions Ltd are one of the leading importers of Hardwoods & Softwoods in the South West of England. Established as a joinery manufacturing company in 1986 (then trading as M J Nicholls Joinery) and has steadily grown into a unique machining company, eventually becoming a limited company in 2003. We are fully equipped with three Weinig moulders capable of planing wood and producing sophisticated mouldings.

Using up-to-date CNC tool room technology we can create templates which enables us to replicate mouldings and create new designs. We offer a versatile package working in conjunction with joinery manufacturers, shop fitters, builders and timber merchants and also provide a service to the general public which include:

• Planing wood from cutting lists
• Laminated wood (Edge Glued Worktops / Panels)
• Replicating moulded profiles from old houses and creating new designs
• Supplying Sawn Timber in many Hardwoods & Softwoods
• Tongue & Groove Flooring
• Crosscut Timber to Length

Our timber is mainly Kiln Dried and includes species such as Ash, Beech, Cedar, Douglas Fir, Idigbo, Iroko, Larch, Maple, Oak, Sapele, Softwood (Scandinavian,Russian), Tulip (Poplar), Utile, Walnut, Yellow Pine. Other species may be available, please enquire and we will endeavour to assist with your requirements.

Wherever possible we source our timber from responsibly managed forests. Although not all countries currently provide certification of timbers, we aim to obtain from certified sources such as FSC®, PEFC and Third Party Certified timbers. In 2014 we became FSC® and PEFC certified. Our stock system enables us to track every pack we purchase, which gives peace of mind knowing our wood can be traced.
